SV Style Update: Are you Eco-Friendly?
For the Triple F’s out there who are concerned about the ozone layer. SV has got something for ya. Mewv Sustainables is an eco-friendly fashion line that ranges in sizes from XS to 4X. Not every item is available in the full size range but the ones that are Triple F Friendly are very nice. Each garment is crafted from the finest eco-friendly fabrics; organic cotton, bamboo, soy, tencel, and hemp. Mewv goes out of their way to avoid zippers, hooks and buttons entirely, as there currently isn’t a truly sustainable way to manufacture metal and plastic hooks and zippers.
SV absolutely loves what Mewv is trying to do, and the fact that not only are they concerned about sustainability but they’re also trying to cater to all shapes and sizes are definite plus’. I don’t know about you but it’s been a while since I’ve seen a butterfly. That says a lot about the destruction our earth is undergoing.
