Aretha Franklin, Queen Latifah and Wyclef Jean are among those due to perform at New York’s very first Mandela Day concert. The concert will be held at Madison Square Garden July 18 – Nelson Mandela’s 91st birthday.  Wow can you believe it Mandela is 91!  Other invited guests include Dave Stewart, Cyndi Lauper and France’s first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.  The concert is designed as a call for people around the world to honour the former South African president’s inspiration and values, according to organisers.  SV will definitely bring you updates on this momentous occasion, stay tuned!!
