Yes, It’s Beth again.  Our favourite Rocker Chick Beth Ditto is out and about again talking her regular unorthodox semi-smack, representing for Tripe F’s all over the globe.  We’ve decided to give Beth her own segment called Beth Bits since we write about her so damn often.

This how Beth feeels about Drugs and Fat Girl Fashion:

Beth on Drugs

“Fat people shouldn’t do drugs,” she says.   ”I did ecstasy once – and it ruled but fat people should certainly not do cocaine. It’s not that they’re all unhealthy, but it can be hard on your body, on your heart, so you have to accept you can’t do certain things. I don’t want to die when I’m 38. It’s not worth it. Plus, can you imagine if I was on coke? I mean, how much faster can one girl talk?”

Okay Beth, SV loves you but you may be taking sh*t a bit too far with this one.  No one should do drugs period I get your point about the heart and all but sounds like you were a bit high yourself when you said this??

Beth on Fashion

“I don’t understand all these women who say they feel betrayed by fashion. A piece of clothing can’t talk – it can’t tell you that you can’t have it – so really, you’re just telling yourself that. You make yourself the victim, because if you want clothes that bad, then make them yourself. You have to get creative if you’re fat. I’m really good at turning a belt into a necklace, and I can always find a nice pair of earrings.”

SV is partially with you on this one but the same rules should apply to everyone, what are all fat chicks suppose to invest in a Singer and take up a sewing class??

Definate food for thought as always with Beth, SV wants to know what you think? Leave a comment!

Beth, Love you and your spirit. It’s nice to be young and free, but horizontal stripes are a no no!

Plus size women have different needs but that does not mean we can’t look our best just because we may not look like the cover of Cosmopolitan or Elle magazine. I won’t diss anyone here but looking good is looking good, fat, thin, tall or short. Everyone has flaws and giving up is not the answer. I am plus size and just like when I wasn’t some years ago dressing is a challenge, likely always will be.

Who says horizontal stripes are a no-no? They make the wearer look wider, so what? Maybe some people want to look broader, big deal.
