I turned this dress into a pencil skirt!!

Tip: Think outside of the BOX, Take RISK!!
Look being a big girl just aint easy, period!! I know I’ve said this before but it’s worth repeating. It’s so important to shop in places you don’t normally go to and always have your eye open for that BOMB ASS piece that will just take your wardrobe over the edge, even when your not shopping.
As you know for Caribana I went to an All White Affair but I being who I am didn’t really want to wear all white. So I started looking for something that would go with my white top. I searched the net and came across a tube dress from American Apparel.
That sucker only went up to a size medium, but I didn’t let that discourage me I still went to the store and tried that bad boy on (previous tip reminder).
Into the change room I went with no apologies … the look on the sales girl’s face made me giggle. I knew she was wondering why I was trying to sqeeze myself into the seemingly small dress that was in my hand but I didn’t care she had no clue what was on my agenda. It was even funnier when I came out and she asked How a did you do? .. PLEASE! What did that skinny girl know about my dilemmas as a big woman on the hunt for something FLY.
My friends always ask me how I come up with these ideas but for me it’s all about achieving the overall look. I will go to any lengths to acheive the look I’m aiming for.
It’s so important to take risks and buy things that look good on you, not matter what their intended purpose was. Don’t be afraid to buy a sexy nightgown and turn it into a evening dress, two pieces of clothing that are too small and combining them to make one piece that fits you like a glove, wearing your spanks high up under your bra to make it look like a full body suit. Look ladies do what ever you have to, to make your wardrobe work for you.
